Adding an Organization (e.g. school, sports league, client, etc) to your jobs provides a structured way to organize (no pun intended) and manage information and data specific to that organization, which can then be used for filtering, analyzing and strategic insights. It also paves the way for additional reporting and the ability to use Organization-specific information on My Design templates (coming soon!).
đ To use this feature, make sure you've installed the Blueprint version Latest Releases. This can be found by navigating to Preferences > Advanced.
Creating an Organization
Under Organizations, click New.
Give the Organization a Name (eg. ABC Elementary School), and then follow the prompts to enter additional optional information about your customer, including:
Organizationâs Website
Organizationâs Logo
Primary Address
Shipping Address (if different from Primary Address)
Main Contact: Name, Title, Email Address, Phone Number
Keyword and up to three Custom Data fields
Assigning an Organization to a Job
Navigate to your Job.
Click Job Settings (gear icon) and scroll down to ORGANIZATION.
Select an Organization from the drop-down menu and Sync to save your changes.
Bulk-assigning an Organization to multiple Jobs
Under Jobs, check the box next to any Jobs from the same organization.
Click Quick Edit to open the pop-out menu.
Choose the desired Organization from the drop-down menu.
Click Apply to assign the chosen Organization to the selected Jobs.
đ˘ Tip: If you have multiple pages of jobs, narrow down your results by utilizing the search feature and/or sorting by Job Title, Keyword, or Reference. After youâve assigned an organization, sort by Organization to view unassigned Jobs.
Organization Dashboard
Access an Organizationâs Dashboard to see a birdâs eye view of data and analytics for all Jobs assigned to that Organization. Here youâll be able to quickly see the information you entered in the Organizationâs Settings, number of jobs assigned to that organization, and order metrics. Youâll also find a list of that organizationâs jobs, each of which can be conveniently accessed from this page.
Under Organizations, click the name of an existing Organization to open.
Archiving an Organization
Under Organization, check the box next to the Organization(s) you would like archived, and click Archive.
To unarchive, check the box next to the archived Organization(s), and click Activate.
Note: Archiving an Organization will hide it from view in your account, but it will NOT automatically remove the Organization from any Jobs assigned to it.
