Creating a Shopping Cart Template
What is a Shopping Cart Template?
These Cart Templates make up the general look and feel your customers experience when using the online gallery. The cart template controls:
The background wallpaper used for the online gallery
Allow/Disable customer cropping
Messaging for different user scenarios
Thank you for ordering
Gallery Unavailable (subject has no viewable images)
Gallery Expired (subject accessed gallery after deadline)
Minimum order amount before allowing checkout
Shipping and Handling
Pickup Only, Direct Ship Only, Customer Choice
Set Shipping and Handling rates
Image or Text watermark
Set position of watermark over images
Include watermark on thumbnails
Collect tax on shipping charge
Collect a different tax rate for digital download products
Collect tax at all
To start, click on the Shopping Cart tab and select Manage Cart Templates.
Click on any template name to begin customizing that template. You can also build a new one from scratch using the big, green, +NEW button in the top-right corner.
Here's a run-down of the different sections that make up a Shopping Cart Template:
Give your template a unique name, wallpaper (or choose from one of the available presets), and enable/disable basic cropping, editing, and order notes features that are available to your clients.
You can also control the messaging that will show to customers in the online gallery during different events, such as:
Set watermark settings for images in your online gallery.
Choose between text or image (500x100 PNG) as a watermark.
Set the position of the watermark by picking from preset options.
Pro Tip: We recommend using Tiled Diagonal for the most coverage.
Shipping & Handling
Set the delivery method for your job:
Set rates for shipping and handling
Set the minimum order amount customers need in their cart before checkout.
Set the rate of tax on your orders.
Specify a tax on all orders or no orders.
Specify a tax on shipping fees or not.
Set separate tax rates for digital items.
When are my changes applied to existing jobs?
All changes are immediately applied on any jobs using the template after saving.
