When you upload a subjects without photos, they default into the Trash. The trash batch shows to the right of all of the rest of the batches. If you drag the subjects with no photos onto a batch, they will show up in composites with that Not Pictured placeholder image. To place them in a batch, drag from the Not Pictured image and place them into the batch they should go into.
