How do I add a new user?

In Blueprint's Preferences, click on Users => New User:

Fill out the all of the required information to create a new user:

  • Username: Must be unique.

  • Name: First and Last.

  • Email: Invitation email will be delivered on user creation.

  • Password: Must be at least 6 characters, include a capital letter and a number.

You can also set additional, optional, permission levels for the user, such as:

  • Roles: Attach multiple roles to give unfettered access to the users who need it.

  • Jobs: Choose whether users have access to specified or all jobs in the account.

👨‍🏫 There's no additional cost for adding users. Add as many as needed!


How do I add a user's existing account to my studio?

In Blueprint's Preferences, click on Users => Add Existing User:

Enter the existing username to add to your account. Once done, the user can sign into your studio (or any other linked studio) with one login.


How do I update my user information?

In Blueprint's Preferences, click on Users => Select Your Username.

Users can update their name (first and last), email, and password.


How do I delete a user?

In Blueprint's Preferences, select the checkbox of the desired user(s) and click delete in the toolbar:


What are roles?

Roles are a custom combinations of different permission levels you can create to assign to users. Roles let you easily control who has access to specific data, commands, and features in Blueprint.

You can assign multiple roles to one user to mix permissions for unfettered access to those who need it.


How do I make a role?

In Blueprint's Preferences, click on Roles & Permissions => Add Role:

Name your new role and set the level of access for each permission as desired:

Click on the green Create button at the bottom of the screen to save when finished.


How do I add a role to a user?

In Blueprint's Preferences => Users, select the user you wish to edit and add the role:

In the user's profile, select the role(s) to add to the user:

Click on the green Update button to save your changes. They'll take affect on the user's next login:
