First you need to setup your Stripe account in PLIC Books. Go to Studio/Lab Settings. At the top is an option for Store Settings. Click on it.
From there you will change the Account Type from
Stripe . A new button will appear to connect your account. Click it to be redirected to Stripe.
If you already have an account you will be prompted to login and select it. If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create one. You will be asked for information about your business as well as how to direct funds you receive to your bank account.
Once that setup is complete, you will be redirected back to PLIC Books. Now when you go to the Orders tab, you will see a new button. It is a cart icon with the tooltip of
Manage Book Store .
After you click on it you will be presented with the setup page. Here you will be given options to change the default title, add a description, and set the price of your Books. The price you set is the base price of your book. If you have any additional options you want to sell, you can do that as add-ons. Examples of some add-ons you can sell are Hard Cover for $5 more, adding your name to the Book cover for $10 more, or really anything you can think of to try to sell to your customers.
Once you are done, click save. Now on the orders screen you will have a text box on the right with the url to this school's Store. Click the green button to copy the link and give it to your schools.
When your school goes to that link they will see a simple interface to buy their Books from their phones, tablets, or computers:
The image that shows up for the Yearbook is the school logo. You can update the logo from PLIC.io or from the Yearbooks tab. Find the school project that you want to update the logo for, then click on the school name on the left.
Next, click on Update Logo to change the school's logo to something new.
